Teleste and Vecima Networks Cooperate

Teleste and Vecima Networks announced a new cooperation in Europe to develop a commercially open distributed access ecosystem. This collaboration combines Vecima Networks' Entra vCMTS cloud-native virtualized cable access core with Teleste's Remote PHY node portfolio and local sales and support. The goal is to provide European cable operators with a cost-efficient method to scale ultra-high-bandwidth services while maintaining freedom of choice across core and Remote PHY domains. Both Teleste and Vecima Networks emphasize the importance of openness not only at the technical interface level but also in the commercial model, allowing operators to select components based on network requirements without additional costs related to interoperability.
