Shield AI, Thunder Tiger Partnership in Taiwan

Shield AI and Thunder Tiger Corporation have announced a memorandum of understanding to integrate Shield AI's Hivemind autonomy software across Thunder Tiger Corporation's unmanned systems portfolio, beginning with unmanned surface vessels (USVs). This collaboration aims to enhance Taiwan's maritime defense capabilities by enabling autonomous navigation and mission execution for its systems. The agreement outlines a phased approach for integration and testing, including simulation and live vehicle trials. This partnership builds on Shield AI's existing commitments in Taiwan and reflects a shared goal of developing and sustaining Taiwan's autonomous defense capabilities. Thunder Tiger Corporation's FPV platforms have also received approval under the United States — United States Department of Defense's Blue UAS program, further solidifying its position in the international defense market.
