Prateek Yadav Dies, Postmortem Reveals Cause

Prateek Yadav, the 38-year-old son of late India — Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav and stepbrother of Akhilesh Yadav, passed away in Lucknow. The postmortem report from King George s Medical University attributed his death to cardiorespiratory collapse caused by massive pulmonary thromboembolism, with six antemortem injuries also noted. He had been undergoing treatment for hypertension and pulmonary embolism at Medanta. Despite his prominent political family background, Prateek Yadav largely stayed out of politics, focusing instead on his business ventures in fitness and real estate, including owning a gym called The Fitness Planet and being involved with the animal welfare NGO Jeev Ashray. His wife, Political families of Uttar Pradesh, is a leader in the India — Bharatiya Janata Party. The news of his death prompted condolences from various political figures, including India — Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and actor-MP Ravi Kishan. Akhilesh Yadav expressed deep sorrow, recalling Prateek's dedication to health and business. Earlier this year, Prateek Yadav had publicly discussed marital issues with Political families of Uttar Pradesh on social media, though he later announced a reconciliation.
