AndzonBio2, a neuroscience company, announced on May 13, 2026, that it has signed agreements with the Alborada Drug Discovery Institute at the University of Cambridge and Cambridge Enterprise. This collaboration aims to develop a new class of first-in-class therapeutics targeting neuroinflammation, a key driver in various neurodegenerative and neurological conditions such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, and Amyotropic Lateral Sclerosis. The partnership combines AndzonBio2's expertise in early drug development with Cambridge's neuroscience capabilities and the Alborada Drug Discovery Institute's drug discovery platform. Cambridge Enterprise has granted AndzonBio2 an exclusive option to license the resulting intellectual property for preclinical and clinical development.
