Richard Peter, a 32-year-old suspect from Nigeria — Lagos State, was arrested by the Zone One Police Headquarters in Nigeria — Kano State for allegedly defrauding 38 female students of Bayero University Kano. The Nigeria — Nigeria Police Force, following a petition led by Clementina Paul, traced one of the stolen phones and intercepted Richard Peter in Nigeria — Kaduna State while he was attempting to flee to Nigeria — Lagos State. Authorities recovered 29 mobile phones and other items, and Richard Peter is currently in custody, awaiting charges.
