CTC, Quantum Knight Partner for Cybersecurity

United Technologies (CTC), a non-profit applied scientific research and development organization, has partnered with Quantum Knight Inc., an advanced cybersecurity technology developer. This collaboration aims to accelerate the deployment of post-quantum cybersecurity protections across federal, defense, and industrial systems in the United States. The partnership focuses on the certification, integration, and deployment of Quantum Knight Inc.'s CLEAR cryptosystem software, which utilizes patented HyperKey technology. CLEAR is a software-based encryption platform designed to secure sensitive data against emerging threats from nation-state adversaries, artificial intelligence, and future quantum computing capabilities. It meets United States — National Institute of Standards and Technology post-quantum cryptography requirements and can be deployed on existing infrastructure without hardware replacement. The United States — Food and Drug Administration has already granted Authority to Operate for CLEAR software. This initiative is crucial as quantum computing advances are expected to make many current encryption methods vulnerable, posing risks to critical infrastructure like power grids, water systems, and transportation networks.
