Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired the 51st PRAGATI meeting, reviewing seven critical infrastructure projects across railways, power, and road sectors, valued at over Rs 30,000 crore, spanning nine states. Key discussions included accelerating rooftop solar adoption in urban areas, developing Vadhavan Port as a model for multi-modal logistics, and ensuring effective implementation of India — Swachh Bharat Mission 2.0. The Ken-Betwa Link Project was highlighted as a model for resolving inter-state water disputes through cooperation and technology. PM Modi stressed the importance of a proactive and time-bound approach to project execution to avoid cost escalation and ensure timely access to development benefits for citizens. Innovative use of canal networks for solar panel installation was also encouraged to optimize land use and generate renewable energy.
