General Atomics has joined Nvidia's MGX AI Factory ecosystem to revolutionize power delivery for next-generation AI data centers. General Atomics' power management solutions will support Nvidia's MGX architecture and 800 VDC power architecture, an open, modular reference architecture designed for AI factories. This collaboration aims to enhance energy-efficient power distribution across data centers, enabling higher compute performance and power density within existing infrastructure. General Atomics will leverage its expertise in power conversion, utilizing silicon, silicon carbide, and gallium nitride materials to accelerate the transition towards full-scale 800 VDC architectures.
