NCoS denies Kuje Prison theft

The NCoS, through its Public Relations Officer Jane Osuji, stated that the allegations are false, misleading, and inconsistent with established custodial procedures. They clarified that a routine security search was conducted to maintain order and discipline, and all recovered prohibited items were duly processed. The NCoS emphasized that inmates are not permitted to keep unauthorized valuables or large sums of money, and official records do not support the claims of declared items matching the alleged valuation.
