ReleasePad launches machine-readable changelog

ReleasePad, a release-notes platform for SaaS teams, has launched a machine-readable Markdown output for every changelog hosted on its service. This new feature provides a stable URL that returns plain Markdown, complementing the existing public changelog page and in-app widget. The development addresses the growing trend of AI assistants retrieving product documentation and changelogs in response to user queries. Felix Marx, founder of ReleasePad, emphasized that this ensures AI agents can effectively read and interpret release notes. ReleasePad's Microsoft — GitHub integration, an approved Microsoft — GitHub Marketplace app, already drafts release notes from merged pull requests using Anthropic's latest frontier model. The Markdown output is now available on all existing accounts without requiring configuration.
