Ainos launches AI Nose study at National_Taiwan_University_Hospital

Ainos, Inc., a Smell AI company, announced the launch of a research program at National University Hospital (NTUH) to deploy its AI Nose technology in the emergency department. The study, titled 'Establishment of an Early Warning System for Emergency Department Overcrowding and Respiratory Infection Risk by Application of AI Electronic Nose for Intelligent Environmental Monitoring,' aims to use AI Nose for intelligent environmental monitoring, ER overcrowding early warning, and respiratory infection risk analysis. This initiative expands Ainos, Inc.'s market opportunities beyond semiconductor and industrial environments into frontline healthcare infrastructure. The AI Nose systems will continuously analyze environmental scent patterns and signals related to crowd density, patient flow, and respiratory infection risks. The study, approved by NTUH's Institutional Review Board, will generate over 2,500 hours of environmental data to develop AI models for healthcare-specific environmental mapping and risk models.
