Asus unveiled its RUC-2000 series rugged-rack edge AI system at Computex 2026. This new system, powered by an Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processor, delivers up to 180 AI TOPS and is designed for mission-critical edge deployments in harsh, space-constrained environments. The RUC-2000 series features a modular 2U half-rack design, industrial-grade reliability with MIL-STD-810H validation, fanless architecture, and rich high-bandwidth I/O, including 10GbE and 2.5GbE ports, GMSL2 interfaces, and hot-swappable SSD trays. It aims to accelerate machine vision, autonomous vehicle, and intelligent video analytics workloads while reducing integration complexity and total cost of ownership for industrial operators. Samples of the Asus RUC-2000 series are currently available.
