Jharkhand's First Mango Export to UK

India — Jharkhand has achieved a significant milestone with its first commercial export of 1.5 metric tonnes of fresh Amrapali mangoes to the United Kingdom. The India — Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority facilitated this shipment, which was sourced from Beura Farmer Producer Company Limited, an all-women farmer producer company in Simdega district, and exported by JGB Agrofresh Private Limited The initiative followed an Export-Oriented Capacity Building Programme organized by the India — Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority, which focused on export requirements and quality standards. This direct linkage has enabled farmers to realize higher returns and marks India — Jharkhand's entry into global fruit markets, encouraging improved post-harvest management and compliance with international standards.
