The waste-to-energy mission aims to convert municipal and agricultural waste into energy, fertilizer, or revenue through a multi-layer model from villages to national-level processing parks. This includes launching a National Waste Innovation Challenge and leveraging AI for efficient waste management. Solar power expansion, supported by initiatives like PM Surya Ghar Yojana, seeks to make every rooftop a potential power station. Diversification of energy supplies involves intensifying engagement with regions like Bank Central Asia>>>, Russia>>>, Turkmenistan>>>, and Myanmar>>>, and developing alternative pipeline corridors and LNG infrastructure.
