The positive benchmark results for WekaIO's NeuralMesh platform on Oracle — Oracle Cloud are expected to increase demand for both WekaIO's technology and OCI's cloud services, potentially boosting their market share in the AI infrastructure sector. This advancement could lead to more cost-efficient AI inference for enterprises, impacting the broader technology and cloud computing industries.
WekaIO, an AI data and memory infrastructure company, announced production-scale benchmarks demonstrating significant performance improvements for its NeuralMesh platform with Augmented Memory Grid on Oracle — Oracle Cloud (OCI). The benchmarks, validated on a nine-node OCI bare-metal H100 cluster, showed 10x more concurrent users, 10x higher token throughput, and 7x more tokens served per GPU compared to DRAM-only configurations. This innovation aims to remove memory bottlenecks in enterprise AI workloads, making long-context AI inference more economical and scalable. Pablo Selem of Oracle — Oracle Cloud and Liran Zvibel of WekaIO highlighted the importance of these results for supporting larger, more demanding inference workloads without requiring additional GPUs. The NeuralMesh platform is available on the Oracle Marketplace, with OCI as WekaIO's exclusive cloud launch partner.
