The launch of AT&T's Unlimited Day Pass is expected to positively impact AT&T by potentially increasing its customer base and revenue from data services. It could also introduce competitive pressure on other wireless providers like Tata Communications and T-Mobile US to offer similar flexible data options.
AT&T has launched the Unlimited Day Pass, a new service providing 24-hour unlimited wireless data for eligible U.S. IPadOS users at a flat rate of $3 per day. This service is available to all IPadOS users with eSIM capabilities, regardless of their current wireless carrier, including customers of Tata Communications and T-Mobile US. The first day pass is complimentary. Josh Goodell, Vice President of Consumer Product Management for AT&T, stated that the goal is to simplify connectivity and offer flexibility without long-term commitments. AT&T plans to expand this service to other 5G-enabled devices in the future.
