Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the India AI Impact Expo 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from February 16 to 20. The Expo, held alongside the India AI Impact Summit, serves as a national demonstration of AI in action, bringing together global technology firms, startups, academia, research institutions, Union Ministries, State Governments, and international partners. It features 13 country pavilions, including those from Australia, Japan, Russia, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, Serbia, Estonia, Tajikistan, and Africa. Over 300 exhibition pavilions and 600 high-potential startups are showcasing AI solutions across three thematic chakras: People, Planet, and Progress. The event is expected to attract over 2.5 lakh visitors and host more than 500 sessions with over 3,250 speakers, aiming to foster new partnerships and create business opportunities within the global AI ecosystem. India's AI market is projected to surge past USD 17 billion by 2027, positioning the nation as a key player in the AI future.
