Versa Networks Launches Sovereign SASE-as-a-Service

Versa Networks announced the general availability of Sovereign SASE-as-a-Service, the world's first fully cloud-delivered SaaS offering where data, control, and management planes operate entirely within a region's legal jurisdiction. This service addresses the growing demand for digital sovereignty, driven by regulatory frameworks such as the European Union's GDPR, NIS2, and DORA. Unlike many existing SASE offerings that may route user traffic or log metadata outside a country's jurisdiction, Versa Networks' solution ensures full architectural sovereignty. The offering is initially available in Germany and the DACH region, contracted through Versa Networks B.V., a Netherlands-based legal entity. Industry analysts from Omdia and Forrester Research, along with partners like Haunters, have highlighted the significance of this managed service in meeting enterprise compliance needs without requiring extensive infrastructure build-out.
