Gupta's tenure is set to last until February 28, 2029. He replaces Sandeep Kumar Gupta, who superannuated on February 28. His prior experience includes 32 years at Engineers India, where he led significant projects like the Dangote refinery and Petrochemical Complex in Nigeria and the first greenfield refinery project in Mongolia.
