NNPC reported a significant profit after tax of N5.76 trillion and N60.5 trillion in revenue for 2025, indicating strong financial performance despite some operational challenges. The company also highlighted steady crude oil and natural gas production, along with improvements in infrastructure projects.

NNPC Limited (NNPC Limited) is strengthening its operational and commercial relationship with Dangote Refinery, aiming to expand upstream, trading, shipping, and gas supplies. This collaboration is expected to enhance NNPC Limited's downstream growth objectives and commitment to domestic refining capacity.

The NNPC is collaborating with the Nigeria===Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs in the oil and gas industry. It is encouraged to participate in the 2025 licensing round and deepen exploration, and has launched a National Gas Master Plan.
